Tini Tuesday: How to Make the Coastal Sunset Martini
If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: A good martini can transport you. One sip of this coastal sunset martini, and suddenly, you’re no longer in your kitchen—you’re in a breezy, candlelit dining room, Ina Garten is your neighbor, and you have a well-stocked bar cart that Martha Stewart would definitely approve of.
That’s the energy behind The Coastal Sunset Martini. It’s fruity without being too sweet, smooth with a little mystery, and—most importantly—effortless.
I created this for Tini Tuesday, my weekly excuse to mix up a dreamy martini for my girlies who appreciate classic elegance, a perfectly chilled glass, and the art of slowing down. So if you’re someone who:
🍸 Watches Nancy Meyers movies just for the kitchen inspo
🍸 Has a favorite candle you only burn on special occasions
🍸 Believes in always having fresh flowers in the house
🍸 Secretly wishes you could summer in Nantucket with a well-styled bar cart
Then congratulations—you’re my kind of person, and this Coastal Sunset martini is for you. 🥂

The Coastal Sunset Martini Recipe
This Coastal Sunset Martini is simple, elegant, and tastes like a slow summer evening on the coast. The mix of blackberry liqueur, pineapple juice, and a touch of strawberry gives it a smooth, slightly tart finish that feels like the perfect balance between sophisticated and playful.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz vodka
- 0.5 oz blackberry liqueur
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1 fresh strawberry, muddled
- Ice
Instructions:
1️⃣ In a shaker, muddle the strawberry to release the juices.
2️⃣ Add vodka, blackberry liqueur, pineapple juice, and ice.
3️⃣ Shake well until chilled (imagine you’re in a charming New England kitchen while doing this—it helps).
4️⃣ Strain into a chilled martini glass.
5️⃣ Garnish with a thin strawberry slice on the rim.
The Flavor Profile:
🌿 Blackberry Liqueur → Adds a deep, slightly mysterious note
🌿 Pineapple Juice → Brings a bright, tropical hint without overpowering
🌿 Muddled Strawberry → Freshens it up & makes it chef’s kiss
This martini is less “night out at the club” and more “intimate dinner party with soft jazz in the background.” It’s the kind of drink you sip while arranging fresh flowers, planning your dream vacation to the Hamptons, or flipping through your favorite cookbook (even if you have no plans to cook).
✨ Pairs well with:
✔️ A breezy linen outfit & bare feet on a hardwood floor
✔️ The Something’s Gotta Give soundtrack playing softly in the background
✔️ A candlelit dinner that feels special (even if it’s just for you)
✔️ A girls’ night where you talk about life over good drinks & better company
So whether you’re hosting, unwinding, or just looking for an excuse to romanticize your Tuesday, this martini is the perfect blend of effortless elegance.
